Event Description
Celebrate two of the best things in the world: books and food!
Something edible + book related = Edible Book
There are four age categories: ages 5–8, 9–12, 13–18, and 19+. And we’re adding a “Professional” category to celebrate our 10th year! For inspiration, check out our Pinterest “Edible Book” board. Registration forms with all the details can be found at KPL, on the bookmobile, or online. Registration is required by noon on June 26.
Registration Details:
Admission and registration are free.
One entry per participant.
Entries must be made of at least 95% edible materials and be family-friendly.
The base size of each entry can be no larger than 20" by 20".
Entries will not be refrigerated at the library.
Entries will not be served.
All entries will be photographed, and (with permission) will appear (with first name and last initial) on the library's Facebook page.
Participants need not be present to win.
Entries must be picked up by 5:30pm on June 28 or they will be discarded.
Festival Schedule:
11:30am–1:00pm: Delivery and Setup
1:00–1:30pm: Judging
1:30–2:00pm: Public Voting
2:00pm: Winners Announced
2:30–5:30pm: Entry Pick-Up
