Community Helper Crafternoon: Douglas, You Need Glasses!

Event Description

"Meet Douglas, a dog with a big problem: he needs eyeglasses but doesn’t know it. Douglas chases a leaf that he mistakes for a squirrel, walks through wet cement because he can’t see the sign, and more. After an eye exam confirms that Douglas needs glasses, his owner Nancy helps him find the right pair." Miss Shawna will summarize "Douglas, You Need Glasses!" by Ged Adamson and then demonstrate a craft related to the story.

We are offering both an in-person and virtual session for this program—so choose the right option for you when you register! Supplies for the virtual session will be available for pick up beginning at 9:00 am and the video will be released at 4:00 pm on June 22. You can craft anytime you wish. Packets for virtual sessions need to be picked up within two weeks of the program date or they will be passed along to other patrons.
